Introducing the brilliant follow-up in our Artist Collaboration Reel Series! Our next artist is Matt Renner. With nearly 30 years of artistic experience and over a decade of tattooing under his belt, Matt has done it all. His work spans from hyper-realistic black and grey portraits to bold, vibrant “New Age” American Traditional styles. His art is deeply influenced by his Colorado roots and his passion for fly fishing. In this custom deep olive/bright yellow reel, Renner has incorporated his personal bold style into iconic stonefly imagery and traditional Japanese rocks and lines. Available in 5+ Large Arbor only. 

We’ve used this workhorse surf fishing in So Cal, light steelheading in Oregon, chucking nasty streamers to ravenous browns in Montana, and stalking bones on the flats in Belize.
