The Astral Rassler 2.0 is a mid-cut water boot built for paddlers who spend real time in and around moving water. Hydrophobic quick-dry canvas with an Airmesh tongue handles moisture efficiently, while TPU reinforcements at the toe and heel, backed by internal counters, protect your feet from the kind of rock strikes and abrasion that flatwater shoes simply aren't built for. The padded ankle collar adds meaningful support on long portages and technical scrambles through rugged terrain.
The redesigned G.ss rubber outsole delivers high surface-contact traction with razor siping built for wet rock and river gorges. It's stickier and more durable than the previous generation, and the non-marking compound means you won't leave scuffs on your boat or your shuttle vehicle. Balanced Geometry levels the heel and ball of the foot for better agility and stability when footing is anything but reliable.
A built-in Polygiene-treated sockliner keeps odour under control across multi-day trips, a practical detail that anyone who's worn river shoes for a week straight will appreciate. At 17mm heel and 16mm ball ground distance, there's enough platform underfoot for comfort without losing the ground feel that matters in technical situations.
